Frequently Asked Questions

How do I place an order?

Our prefered method is for you to send us an email that includes your contact information, the quanties, sizes, paper type and any other add-ons or special requests per title of your print files. We can also assist you in person at our print studio, where you can see a variety of media options and to ensure your files are print ready. Or you can give us a call. Once we receive your order, we will send out an invoice and you can send us your print files.

Can I rush my print order?

For paper prints, yes. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need your prints by a certain date or time so we can best meet your deadline. For small print orders, when possible, we charge: an added 100% of order total for same day service. an added 50% of order total for next day service. an added 25% of order total for 2 day service. For large, wholesale orders, "rush" orders are not possible. We will fullfil the order based on our current workload. You can request the order by a certain time and we can best accommodate your needs. For canvas prints, we will try our best to rush if need be, but with coating drying times, it may not be possible. Allow enough time for the UV coating to be fully cured.

Are replacements or returns possible?

Any print that is damaged or defective due to materials or a printing error will be replaced at no charge! Bring back the original print(s) and we will have the replacement(s) ready for you as soon as we can. Any replacement request should be submitted within 48 hrs of order pick-up or delivery. *Scanning services are non-refundable.

What file formats do you accept?

We accept .tif, .jpeg, .psd, .pdf, .png. However, we recommend .tif, .psd, or .pdf because these file types do not "compress" the information within the file. We can only print RGB, so please convert any CMYK colorspaces before delivering the final file.

How do I prepare my files for printing?

There are a number of things to prepare before we can print. Some recommendations are: -Confirm your file(s) are sharp and in focus. -Make sure to remove dust/sensor dust, dots, specks, blemishes and anything else that should not appear in the final print. *The larger the prints, the more obvious a blemish will be. -If your image has layers, be sure to flatten it. -Send RGB files in the working space you edit in. We recommend Adobe RGB. * Do not send CMYK files.

What resolution should my files be?

We recommend using files that have a resolution of 200dpi and above.

How do I give/send you my files?

We accept files submitted through some popular, free and secure file transfer services such as: dropbox, hightail, wetransfer or google drive. Contact us if you have any questions on how to use any of these services.

What are the turn-around times for printing?

Our standard turn-around time for paper print orders is 3-5 buiness days; depending on the current workload. Larger, wholesale orders will require a longer production time and will be quoted per order. For canvas print orders, please allow for 7-10 business days. It may take longer for orders with higher quanitites.

Can I bring my own scans/files?

Absolutley! We are able to work with your own scans or digital images, provided their quality and resolution is suitable for printing. Image touch-ups/photoshop work and color matching is $80/hr. 5"x7" printed proofs are $5. If your original file is a slide or transparency then we will have to scan it first using our flatbed scanner before proceeding with the print. We can scan any format film up to 8.5"x11".

What are your scanning services?

We use a digital capture system to create the highest quality and resolution digital file of your artwork. Our lighting system can be manipulated to emphasize brush strokes, textures, and other significant details. We offer 2 services: Color-corrected Scan - $100.00 This is the best option to make sure your print reproductions come out exactly like the original. We use our experience and expertise to fine-tune colors and maintain all the textures within your creation. We use a line of color matching software that starts in our scanning service and is followed all the way to the end fine-art print. This allows for the most accurate color duplicate of the original artwork's colors. For high shine materials we cross polarize the lights to eliminate or control reflections. Raw Scan - $25.00 This option is best for artists who just need the file for archive purposes or have plans to use the digital file for another project besides print reproductions i.e. t-shirts. Just give us a call or stop by and we can help you! Once the scan job is complete you will receive the finished file via a transfer link.
